Jim brought his Stearman project to Waldo in the spring of 2021 for final assembly.  Jim had been curating parts for the plane for 15 years, and also had other restorers work on elements of the project. Covering the wings in fabric began in 2019 with Waldo. Final Assembly was completed in early August 2022, with the test flight on August 28, 2022 (79 years after the plane left the factory to the day!)
